I have rewritten this a bit. Qabalah is nice for those who understand it, and ancient Hebrew is really nice if you know how to pronounce it.

But I am not in that place anymore. And this works better when it is based on my own belief system. This ritual, as I’ve re-written it, will be heavily dependent on your own personal beliefs. I see it as a lead into an FMR - Goddess focused.

The traditional LBRP works into the final line of the Lords Prayer.   I have changed that, bringing into play some things more familiar to my personal pagan path. I work with the pentacle shape, rather than a cross. I work with the Charge of the Goddess, rather than the Lords Prayer.  The closing lines are from the Charge of the Goddess. You can speak this, or intone it, or sing it or whatever you would like to do. But this is the place I choose to start.

The Pentagram is to be started from the Lower Left hand corner traveling to the top, down to the right hand corner, to the left and to the right, then down to the lower left hand corner where you began (see diagram above).  This is the banishing structure of the pentacle.

Most traditionalists use a dagger or athame, I've seen and done it myself with a finger, or a wand for lack of a proper athame.  Your choice.

For if that which you seek, you find not within yourself, you will never find it without.

For behold, I have been with you from the Beginning,

And I am that which is attained at the end of desire.

Advance to the East, then trace the Pentagram (the Pentagram should be made with the top point roughly level with your forehead and the bottom points with your hips; they should be traced the same size in all four quarters).

Bring the point to the centre of the Pentagram and say:

She stands in the East, where the Moon does Rise

Go clockwise to the South, keeping your arm extended pointing outwards, then trace the Pentagram, bring the point back to its centre and say:

She stands in the South, where the Moon is New

Go North, keeping your arm extended, then trace the Pentagram and say:

She stands in the North, where the Moon is Full

Go West, keeping your arm extended as before.  Trace the Pentagram and say:

She stands in the West where the Moon does set.

Go East, with your arm extended, completing a circle joining the centers of all four Pentagrams.  Then return to the centre, face East and extend your arms to your sides as though you were a living Pentacle, arms extended and feet apart.

Say, intone, sing, whatever. . .

She is the gracious Goddess, who gives the gift of joy unto the heart of man. Upon earth, She gave the knowledge of the spirit eternal; and beyond death, She gives peace and freedom, and reunion with those who have gone before.
